My father, Benjamin Franklin is one of those people who you never get tired being around. He alsways had a great idea here or there and always did things his way to promote the common good of the people. America would be a much less involved nation, likely not even a nation, without his help. Hea has feature everything there is to the American Lifestyles, and more.
My father represented what was to be considered of the utmost hapiness. Although he can't be found in many photos as the jolly man he was, he still led a great and happy life. Within his own happiness, he managed to marry the dear Deborah Read, my mother, and was able to bear two children with her. Although my brother, Francis Folger Franklin, died of smallpox, my father was only mournful of the event but did not stop in his attempt to make the world a more happy place as well. My father also found time to do what he considered to be of the utmost importance. He invented such brilliantly dashing objects. I never really fully understood them, but many places gave scolarships and awards to him to be able to do such magnificent deeds. He never even wanted to make money from his inventions. He just wanted the people to be happier. In Justice was where he shined the most. In his appointment of three consecutive terms as preseident of Pennsylvania, the United States Minister to France, the United States Minister to Sweeden, and the First United States Postmaster General, he managed to bring peace and justice to the American Nation.
I never met a man as such as he that woul give himself up to the common good so easily. He thrived on attempting to use his high intelligence for the common good. In the end, though, isn't that what the American Dream is based on? The leadership ability to be able to give in to what you want to be? In that respect, my father was of the utmost high in standards. He wanted to bring to the land, the ability for everyone to reach the American Dream. In that respect he most definately made the biggest stride towards.
